Yoga for Runners - Mondays 6:00 pm

Christine’s signature class based on her extensive expertise in working with runners and athletes. Focus is on strength and mobility specifically suited to the needs of the athletic body. Class focus varies weekly incorporating hip flexors, hips, hamstrings, upper body, core and….always breathing.

Strength - Wednesdays 6:00 pm

Muscle mass declines involuntarily unless we work to maintain. Maintaining muscle mass is important for athletes, young people and older people. Muscle-building exercise improves balance, reduces the likelihood of falls, a key longevity marker and builds confidence. This class is based on Christine’s personal experience in strength training to overcome serious shoulder injuries, only to discover a multitude of benefits in strengthening the entire body. Exercises will include workign with body weight and some equipment: resistance bands and weights which can be dumb bells or household items such as containers with handles.

Vinyasa - Sundays 9:30 am

Breath and movement unite through a flow of yoga poses. Class incorporates many traditional yoga poses with varied and interesting twists and turns. Always a good dose of fun and challenge, yet suitable for all levels.
